It's been a long while since I stepped foot in a theatre. Well, it's been a long while since I stepped a foot in anywhere! But I knew a comedy play at my favourite theatre would be just the baby step back into the 'real world' I needed, and I wasn't disappointed.
The Royal Exchange is still one of the most welcoming, accessible, comfortable and beautiful venues I've visited and in the years since I've been it's lost none of its charm. The show, No Pay? No Way!, was a cracking, hilarious production beautifully performed with the light contemporary touch that the original Dario Fo script needs. Long story short, I had an evening so lovely that it's got me dusting off my old drama degree scripts and excited for what's next!
