Y Tabl Cyfnodol - The Periodic Table of Welsh Mutations

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

Well, this one took on a life of its own! After having such fun working on my Welsh verb conjugation cheatsheet, I decided to tackle another elusive feature of the Welsh language - mutations!

With so much going on in this famously tricky aspect of the Welsh language, the project ended up growing beyond its initial goals, and I found myself having to stick to a limit of ‘only’ 6 pages overall! The last four pages are a more in depth look into what is already covered earlier on, so (hopefully) eventually you’ll only need the second page and some diagrams to use as a quick reference guide.

Since there is a lot of colour-coding involved in this project, I haven’t yet managed to finish a black and white, printer friendly version. But keep your eyes peeled! There should hopefully be one coming soon.

As always, the HD downloads should be available to download for free for educational and personal usage. If you’d like to order a printed poster version, you can do so through the zazzle store. I’ve also put some simpler, clearer diagrams on a few bits of merchandise, in case anyone might be interested.
